WITH EDWARD MILLER

As you learn to love yourself, be kind to yourself and let yourself off any transgressions you believe it changes your story. If your story changes your life changes.
— Edward Miller

About This Episode:

In this episode, we talk about how we can eliminate suffering, self-acceptance, and self-compassion, why we feel resistant to change (especially when it is something we’ve held onto for a long time). Edward shares with me a beautiful mantra, based on Ho’opponopono forgiveness practice that has changed his life and has become the catalyst to his coaching practice.

Edward has extensive knowledge and experience in meditative practices and non-dual Inquiry tools. This knowledge has been the foundational development of his transformative SoulTranSync practice. Over his 25-year spiritual journey, he has gained wisdom and invaluable training tools to help others realize innovative meditative skills that foster life-changing results.

As a student of Transcendental and Buddhist Meditation practices, and progressive modalities of Self- Inquiry through NonDuality, he has researched and studied many great metaphysical teachers-- including Eckhart Tolle, Mooji, Adyashanti, Chogyan Trungpa, Byron Katie, and Ihaleakala Hew Len, Ph.D. But of all his study, he has been most impressed and personally transformed by the Hawaiian forgiveness teaching of Ho’oponopono.

Using these Best Practices, Edward has designed the SoulTranSync practices and tools, to inspire more peace, love, forgiveness, and happiness through group workshops and individual coaching clients. His goal is always to direct you towards awakening your inner nature and genuine spirit in order to live a more fulfilling life. He also believes that suffering of any variety is completely optional and avoidable if living in the NOW or present moment.

Edward is considered a charismatic visionary with a long career of mentorship and teaching, which has allowed him to help guide others on their spiritual journey. As a former charter school entrepreneur, he made it my mission to help inner-city youth realize their full potential. His passion to assist people with their personal transformation is fueled by his genuine desire to see others achieve happiness and success from within.

Edward has just completed his first book “Overcoming and Embracing” SOUL POWER to be released at the end of 2020. The book is a Step by Step Guide to Soul Transcendence, or how to live from your true heart and not your problematic mind.

135 | Reclaim Your Power

WITH ANDREA CRISP

You were put on this earth to be in communion with the divine, to share your gifts with others, to help them grow and learn, to influence, to teach, to guide, to motivate and create.
— Andrea Crisp

About This Episode:

If you’ve ever been in a situation where you feel as though you can’t express your thoughts, ideas, opinions, or what you truly desire, then it’s entirely possible that you’ve lost your voice. You might even have found yourself in a relationship where the other person’s personality seems to overshadow you which can be really hard to navigate. Or it may be that you’re in a toxic environment that has stripped you of your autonomy and you don’t even know how to use your voice anymore.

As women, we have been raised and conditioned to minimize who we are to downplay our strengths and abilities, to disconnect from what we desire, to ignore how we feel, to shrink back, to defer decisions, to allow others to speak for us.

Ways you may be avoiding stepping into your personal power

  • making excuses

  • rehearsing the same old tired stories

  • give into the influence of others

  • don’t accept responsibility

  • take in self-doubt

  • avoid conflict

  • allow others to define what’s possible

133 | Living Out A Season Of Gratitude + Acceptance

WITH ANDREA CRISP

It’s going to take making a few mistakes here and there until you figure out how things need to go in your world right now.
— Andrea Crisp

About This Episode:

Life is so mysterious and just when you think you may have something figured out — it goes and changes. That has proven to be true time and time again throughout this entire year. And with every magical moment that is experienced, there is also grief and loss that tags right alongside.

We get both. The beauty and pain.

There has been one word that has stood out to me, one word to describe how I am experiencing life right now and that is spacious.

Creating space to live in the unknown, experiencing the ups and downs of uncertainty without trying to control it.

Creating space for intimacy in relationships by speaking the truth and not holding back. By loving when I don’t feel like loving and extending myself in times where I feel alone and I want someone to extend love to me.

Creating space for resistance by trying new things and leaning into the tension of the moment, and conversations that need to be had, and feelings that are begging to be felt.

Making space for creativity and experiencing the moments of failure when things don’t go as planned. Creating space for fun and nothingness all at the same time. Doing and being and finding the space in between.

And I’m allowing the expansiveness of the space to be in me and to move through me. But I didn’t always feel that way.

I spent so much of my life pushing away the pain, trying to not to deal with it that it didn’t even dawn on me I was also pushing away the beautiful moments as well. When I was trying to avoid my feelings and numbing out my out the hurt and loss, even the sting of rejection I had essentially pushed all of the most amazing things to the side as well. And I was left with nothing but an empty hole.

Not sure what your life has looked like over the past few weeks and months (or even year) but I can almost be certain that you have probably experienced something similar. There have been moments so incredible that you’ve treasured them in your heart and you wouldn’t change them for the world, but perhaps there has also been devastating loss and your heart may be feeling very fragile at the moment.

I get that. More than you know.

Today on the podcast we’re doing something a bit different. I want to walk you through a few questions at the end of the episode so that you can reflect on your life and what has brought you joy and sorrow. And I hope that by doing so you’ll gain a little bit of clarity and perhaps even feel like you can take back the ownership of your beautiful and spectacular life.

132 | What's Standing In Your Way [P4] The Fear of Stepping Out

WITH ANDREA CRISP

You’re going to have to become comfortable to with being so uncomfortable that you feel like you’re been squeezed and pressed and pushed way past your comfort zone.
— Andrea Crisp

About This Episode:

One of the biggest fears that we face in life is the fear that we won’t get there, that we’ll never be ready, that we have too far to go. When we truly get honest with ourselves there is a gap between where we are standing right now and where we want to be. It’s the steps taken in between that will make the most difference.

Over the past four weeks, we’ve been tackling the fears that hold us back, that stand in the way of becoming the women we were created to be, from loving, from pursuing our passions and goals, from loving and being free to love. This is the final episode in the four-part series and it’s all about conquering the fear of stepping out.

131 | What's Standing In Your Way [P3] The Fear of What Other People Think

WITH ANDREA CRISP

It’s going to take making a few mistakes here and there until you figure out how things need to go in your world right now.
— Andrea Crisp

About This Episode:

This week we are continuing our four-part series on ‘what’s standing in your way’ with obstacle number three - the fear of what others will think. More often than not our perception of what others think of us is not actually the case at all. It’s just a perception. So why is it that we hesitate to take big steps in our lives when it comes to achieving our goals when it comes to worrying about what our friends and family might think of what we are doing?

If you’ve ever allowed the opinion of someone else to be front in centre in your life at the expense of your own then it’s time that you started listening to your own gut instinct. In this episode, I’m going all in and talking about my own personal struggle over the years and how I sabotaged my own success because I was afraid of what someone else might think of my decisions.

Now is the time to find your unique voice and become empowered to step into your own purpose.

Here are a few questions to help you get started:

  1. What would you be doing if you weren’t afraid of what others thought? Write a letter to them telling them why you want to do this.

  2. At the core who are you? Are you presenting that person to the world?

  3. What is one way you can empower yourself right now to take step towards moving past this fear?

  4. Are you ready to trust yourself enough to take your power back?

130 | What's Standing In Your Way [P2] The Fear of Getting It Wrong

WITH ANDREA CRISP

I don’t really think God cares what we choose as a vocation. Our vocation is not our calling or purpose. Our purpose is something else entirely.
— Andrea Crisp

About This Episode:

Of all the obstacles that stand in our way of living our true purpose and becoming the people we were created to be the fear of not being right or not being perfect makes us feel the most vulnerable. Vulnerability is not something that we aim for in our current culture which is why we spend so much time trying to make sure every decision we make is the right one and that what we choose to do with our lives is well planned out.

Unfortunately, we do not have a crystal ball to see into the future which means that we are most likely going to fall short on occasion. It’s the fear of getting things wrong that paralyzes people in indecision and keeps them from accomplishing their God-given purpose.

Today on the podcast I am going to share a few tips that will help you to move past the obstacle of getting things wrong — even if you are a self-proclaimed perfectionist.
