099 | Listening To Your Intuition

WITH BROOKE PALSSON

The only currency we have in this world is to be ourselves.
— Brooke Palsson

About Episode:

Do you find it difficult to let go and listen to your own intuition?

Gut instinct is everything, especially for artists like Brooke Palsson. Being able to navigate a saturated industry as both a singer/songwriter and actor is a delicate balance. Not one that Brooke has always known how to do. Taking a step back from the industry afforded Brooke the unique opportunity to listen to her intuition and to carve out a new path as an artist.

In this conversation you’ll hear from Brooke just how she’s navigated going in and out of the entertainment industry, how she rekindled her love for her craft and just what it takes to stay in the game as long as she has been. During the second part of our conversation I coach Brooke on how to find that ease and flow in her work. She has quite the epiphany and I believe it’s something that we can all implement in our lives.

Known internationally for her work as a leading role in the HBO hit series “Less Than Kind”, the Winnipeg native has had her music featured in television programs including the aforementioned LTK, Flashpoint (seen on CTV), Kim’s Convenience and feature films The Colossal Failure of the Modern Relationship and Hazy Little Thing. Most recently, Brooke lent her vocal as the touring backup singer for Francesco Yates, and sat as a member of the writing team for George Nozuka.

By balancing both a fresh musical endeavour, and a flourishing acting career, Palsson is truly solidifying her place in the entertainment industry.
